What is the power of the RenaultKwid engine?

Renault Kwid is equipped with a 1.0 litre 3-cylinder BR10 engine, developing up to 71 hp at 5,500 rpm with ethanol, and 68 hp with petrol.

This engine has a displacement of 999 cm³, a 3-cylinder in-line architecture and 4 valves per cylinder. The torque reaches 98 Nm at 4,250 rpm on ethanol.

This engine is fitted to all Evolution, Techno and Outsider versions.

Renault Kwid is equipped with a second-generation Flex Fuel system, which warms the ethanol before injection in cold weather to facilitate starting.

With a difference of 3 hp between ethanol and petrol, Renault Kwid benefits from almost identical power regardless of the fuel chosen.
